WISIUM and ANIPREV join forces to market a mobile application designed for monitoring poultry farms
WISIUM, Neovia’s international premix brand, has signed a partnership agreement with ANIPREV for the marketing of its mobile application, which combines all the relevant functions for remote poultry farm management, and also enables simultaneous sharing of production data with all industry stakeholders, including specific features for each of them.
For the farmer, ANIPREV is a connected farming logbook which centralizes and saves all farming documents, and records them in one secure space. Very simple to use, it provides peace of mind to the farmer.
With a single click on their smartphone or computer, they can, among other things, compare their results with previous batches, with the standard for the strain, or with national averages. They can analyze their data (feed/gain ratio, animal weights, production rates, etc.), receive deviation alerts, share their calendar with their partners for event organization (sampling, animal departure, etc.) or schedule animal procedures.
For the technician, ANIPREV provides a tool for communicating with producers, whether it is to view performance, make notes, compare different batches, add events to the calendar, or transmit documents (prescriptions, feed deliveries).
Developed in 2016 by Pierre Lanckriet, ANIPREV is a decision-support tool designed and developed by a farmer for farmers. It is now used by many operators in the French poultry sector.
“WISIUM already has a firm foothold in countries with strong poultry production through Neovia subsidiaries, and represents a major growth driver for ANIPREV at international level,” reports Pierre Lanckriet, ANIPREV’s CEO.
WISIUM expands its services offer
Initiated by Neovia Venture, Neovia’s investment fund dedicated to innovative projects, this collaboration falls into one of the five fields of innovation prioritized by Neovia: “smart farming”. It notably allows Wisium to enhance its customer offer with technology that facilitates management and improves performance on farms. The tool is initially to be rolled out in five countries: Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Portugal and Spain. It strengthens WISIUM’s proven expertise in animal production management.
“ANIPREV will enable us to support our customers as they move towards a new, more connected, way of producing which will make things easier for them in terms of batch monitoring, in order to improve economic performance,” states François Fernandez, WISIUM’s development director.
