The first edition of the Canadian Dairy XPO in its digital version, Virtual CDX 2021, brought all the major dairy industry companies together on a single platform!
Wisium attended as one of the sponsors of the 2021 edition of this annual trade show, which became the Virtual CDX 2021 for the occasion. In the current pandemic situation, this digital show was a good opportunity for the Wisium Canadian team to present its products on the platform and conduct targeted networking with the major dairy industry players.
During two days, from April 7th to 8th 2021, our experts were connected to welcome and inform the visitors and customers on the products and services we offer in Canada.
In addition to accessing the offerings of the exhibiting companies, the show was also an opportunity to watch the presentations of world-class speakers: Dr. Pol and Dr. Driessen.
The CDX 2021 in figures
The success of the Virtual Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX) 2021 has opened the doors for a hybrid approach to all future CDX in person events. Usually, more than 16,000 dairy producers show up at the event year after year. This year, Virtual CDX 2021 saw just over 2,800 dairy producers and 420 dairy industry professionals log-in.
However, 40% of attending producers experienced the CDX for the first time, compared to the 5% new attendees at an in-person CDX.
Moreover, educational institutions from across the country were able to take part in the Dairy Classroom for the first time. There was a significant increase in attendance of this area with the virtual platform welcoming 750 producers and industry daily compared to approximately 250 at the in-person CDX, up by 67%.
The next edition of the Canadian Dairy XPO is to take place on Wednesday, April 6th and Thursday, April 7th 2022 at the Stratford Rotary Complex in Stratford, Canada.
