How does My Rumidiag work?
MY RUMIDIAG is built for farmers, experts and vets. The objective of dungs analysis is to evaluate the quality of the cow’s digestion. Traditionally, this process includes washing and screening the excrements and observing undigested particles.
This is a practice that is common on farms worldwide and is time-consuming, restrictive, and unpleasant. MY RUMIDIAG is revolutionizing the way dungs are analyzed, making it a more enjoyable and quicker process.
Steps in the MY RUMIDIAG process are simple. Take a picture of fresh dungs or select pictures from your smartphone gallery. Provide information on the presence of corn kernels or mucus found on the excrements. Wait a few seconds for data to load, and then check the result. The analysis will display the risk of sub-acidosis based on the pictures submitted; each picture is analyzed by an artificial intelligence engine in the cloud trained to rate dung pictures in relation to the risk of subclinical acidosis.
The result is immediate – the risk of sub-acidosis of the herd is displayed and the farmer and advisor can now discuss the levers for improvement. MY RUMIDIAG makes it possible to obtain these results in one minute which saves time for the farmer, impacts the quality of production, and improves the well-being of the animals.
MY RUMIDIAG is easy and fast to use. The application can be regularly used to assess the impact of changing feeding practices on animal digestion. This allows the farmer to have a reliable and objective indicator without having to physically wash and sieve manure!
